This 5,000 square foot renovation contains four Research Labs for the NYU Psychology Department. Each Lab and its associated faculty Office wass designed to accommodate the unique requirements of each of the four key faculty members, while creating a unified, light-filled environment. Several Post Doctoral Student Work Areas and 10 Test Rooms for conducting Psychology experiments were also included. The Test Rooms were constructed and acoustical treatments. Generous use of glass brings light from the perimeter windows into the interior spaces, and provides a visual connection between the Labs and the main corridor.
