New Rental Building and Site Improvements

Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Building 69, JFK International Airport, Jamaica, NY

Project Size: 36,000 SF

JFK Building 69 was constructed originally for use by airline ground equipment service companies. Enterprise retained Graf & Lewent to transform the 2-story, 36,000 square foot building and 4 acre site into Enterprise’s new on-airport Car Rental facility. The building was totally renovated to create a new Rental Office and Administrative Offices. In addition, the large, former repair bay was converted into indoor parking, allowing customers to rent and access their cars entirely in an indoor environment. A new drive-through car wash was included in the renovation. The exterior of the building was extensively modified, incorporating new storefronts and vehicle doors. The brick and concrete façade was restored and refinished. The site was entirely renovated, including extensive paving, traffic control systems and a new fuel island. A system of canopies was constructed to shelter customers returning cars.
