Core Office Renovation

Graf & Lewent was responsible for the renovation of the central area of the main building at the Vaughn College campus. The project was performed as part of the general renovation of the building for improved isolation from aircraft related noise at LaGuradia Airport. The project is located at the functional center of the building, at the intersection of the main circulation routes in the building. In response, the project design features a new central circulation space with distinctive ceiling treatments, lighting and finishes, emphasizing its function as central focus of the building. The approximately 18,000 square foot renovation included new facilities for Vaughn’s Career Services, Admissions Office, Financial Aid Services, Registrar and Faculty Offices, all oriented around the new circulation hub. The project also included the creation of new offices and conference facilities for the College administrative officers.
